Your name, email address and cell number, the groups you are part of, what you chose, and your payments. That is all we need to run a group properly.

Card numbers. Those go straight to our payment partner and never touch PayPlease.

Your organiser sees your name, contact details and what you paid for. Other people in the group see only what the organiser chose to show, usually first names next to items.

We send invites, reminders and receipts by email, and by SMS where we have a cell number. Reminders can be switched off by the organiser in the group rules.

Payment records are kept for five years because the law requires it. Everything else we remove when you ask.

Under POPIA you may ask to see, correct or delete what we hold. Email hello@payplease.co.za and we will sort it within a few working days.
